In 1923, Albert Londres, the famous reporter, travels to the French penal colony in French Guyana. First, officers try to hide the truth, but leaded by his own instinct he begins an investigation alongside the authorities. He didn't expect to find such inhuman conditions. He meets a prisoner, Camille, and his wife, Claudia, who's in French Guyana to find a way to free her husband. He decides to help her.

Near the town of Longwy two adolescent boys were exploring an old steel factory when they discovered a corpse in a ventilation duct.The victim, was worker of this steel factory, union activist and also volunteer at the free radio "Lorraine Coeur d'acier" and died 40 years ago.Lorraine Coeur d'acier was the most important free radio in the winter 1978-1979 when 12.000 workers of the steel industries of Lorraine lost their jobs.

A young woman leaves the man she lives with in the middle of the night. All the next day, she searches for a place to sleep, in vain.

Kitazawa Haku had watched a movie and dreamed he was in a parallel universe. Meanwhile, Ryū, the older brother of Haku's friend Takeru, is facing down boys' bar owner Rokujō. Then Ryū becomes fascinated with Kikiyō standing behind Rokujō. On the day of the yearly festival, Haku suddenly disappears. Takeru disappears while in search of Haku. Ryū disappears while following Kikiyō. And then Rokujō also disappears.
